Fundraisers

  • Box Tops for Education: Bring qualifying box tops to the office.
  • Kash for Kids Recycling Program: Recycle used printer cartridges and electronic items, including PDas, iPods, cell phones, video games, digital cameras, laptops, video game consoles, and DVD movies. Turn items in to the school office. Contact: Brenda Akey at 964-0534.
  • MarketAmerica: Cougar Ed Fund has partnered with MarketAmerica to transform your everyday shopping into support for CEF. If you shop through MarketAmerica's "web portal" via the John Baldwin Cougar Ed homepage, your purchases from that page will bring a royalty to Baldwin school. Before/After School Clubs:

  • Environmental Club: Open to all students in grades 3-5 interesting in helping the environment at John Baldwin and beyond. The Environmental Club meets every other Thursday at 7:45 am in room 603. Sign up in the office.
  • Breakfast Book Club: The Book Club meets one Wednesday each month, October through May, from 7:45-8:30 am, in the MPR. $60/year includes 6 age appropriate books to read with parents at home and discuss at school, continental breakfast, and a monthly online newsletter featuring their book reviews. Baldwin Goes Green
See the 11/2/11Cougar Weekly for some excellent tips for a waste free lunch. Parents can help reduce waste at John Baldwin be reducing the amount of packaging and food waste that goes into the trash from lunches.

School Pick Up/Drop Off
Procedures are detailed in the 8/31/11 Cougar Weekly. Please review the procedures to ensure a safe drop off/pick for all of our students.

Kids Country Parking Lot
The parking lot at Kid's Country is only for the use of Kid's Country parents when dropping off or picking up their child(ren) from the program. If your child does not attend Kids’ Country, please go to the front of the school to pick-up or drop off your child. Thank you for your cooperation! Students should walk on the west side of the school to and from Kids’ Country and not walk through the parking lot. If your child is enrolled in Kids’ Country, please review this route with them.

Avoid a Parking Ticket
Remember that the curb to the east side of Brookside between Timerline Place and Brookside Court is a "No Parking Zone" between the hours of 7:00-8:30 am and 2:00-3:30 pm. Cars parked in thie area during these times will be ticketed.

Community Events

Mustang Soccer

Youth League Tennis
