Welcome to the new school year.  I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself as your primary contact for Special Education.  Additional related services are determined by the IEP team and I would like you to know that the Special Education team at our school includes Kristin Ray , Speech and Language Therapist, Amy Sommer, Occupational Therapist, and Jill Forschler, School Psychologist.  As your case carrier, I am responsible for coordinating the team and scheduling your child’s annual IEP.

Todd Gary, The District's Special Needs Liaison, is holding three workshops on special education the next three weeks.  Topics include an Introduction to Special Education, The IEP Process, and Achieving Success. All workshops are on Tuesday mornings at Dougherty Valley High School, and they're free!
