A Little About Me

I am so excited to be your child's kindergarten teacher. This is my 3rd year at J.B. and 7th year teaching. I have taught K-2 and have loved every grade. My passion for teaching came to me as a child. I always loved school and admired my teachers. I wanted to touch the lives of children, just as my teachers touched mine. I look forward to a great year working with you and getting to know your children.

I live in Pleasanton with my husband Jeff, daughter Lilly, and Mini Aussie Quigley. Our favorite thing to do is to visit the beach. We enjoy sticking our feet in the sand and watching the waves roll by.

Ms. Garger

Hi! I'm Ms. Garger and I am the long term sub for Mrs. Worrall. Teaching kindergarten is my dream job and I am so happy to be teaching your kiddos for these first few months. I grew up in just down the road in Alamo and after graduation from Chico Stare and completing my student teaching I am thrilled to be back in the area doing what I love.

Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year!

Jog-a-thon

Our annual Jog-a-Thon is THIS Wednesday, Nov. 8th!

So far 200 of 535 students have brought in pledges to raise over $15,515! Our school goal is to raise $28,000 to go toward purchasing a NEW and IMPROVED PLAY STRUCTURE!

If you haven’t had a chance to participate yet, we’ll be collecting pledges until Wednesday, Nov. 15th before our Wrap-Up and Prize assembly on Friday, Nov. 17th.

You can still register your child online at www.thegetmovincrew.com and send out their webpage to friends and family asking for pledges.

Character Trait of the Month- Gratitude

Our trait for the month of November and December is "gratitude." As educators, we will be helping our students understand how important it is to be grateful for the good things in our life. We will discuss how the simplest thing can make us feel happy and how to have gratitude for its simplicity.

Scholastic Book Orders

I will send home the Scholastic Book Pamphlets each month. I will submit a monthly order on the last Friday of the month. If you prefer you can order online and use the code L9BBW which will give points to my account. The points will be used to order more books for our classroom. I look forward to finding books that interest each of our students!
