GATE Parent Meeting - Feb. 1, 2018

 February 1st 6:30-7:30 plus Q and A

Boardrooms A and B at District Office at 699 Old Orchard Drive, Danville 

 All parents of gifted students are invited to attend this meeting. 

Please come and learn from our esteemed guest speaker, Dr. Lisa White of Summit Center in Walnut Creek, CA.  She has been working with gifted children and families since 2003. Dr. White has worked at the Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics department at Oakland Children’s Hospital and The Berkeley Therapy Institute. Her clinical interests include psycho-diagnostic assessment of gifted and twice-exceptional children, particularly gifted girls, and children with learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders, and ADHD. Dr. Lisa White earned her Ph.D. at the California School of Professional Psychology, where her doctoral dissertation research explored parent-child interactions in families with gifted children.

There will be a GATE meeting for parents of qualified students in Grades 3-5 on September 6, 2017, at 6:00 pm in the John Baldwin Library.
