Six Traits of Writing: Idea, Organization, Voice, Word Choice, Sentence Fluency, Conventions

Students will be writing every day in class.  Students will spend the majority of their “writing time” in Writer’s Workshop.  The Writer’s Workshop format mimics the format of the Reading Workshop.  During our Writer’s Workshop we focus on the five steps involved in the writing process.
