Black Dragon Chess

Chess is fun!

Classes are Wednesdays 1:55-2:22pm in the Library

For 1st-5th grades

Classes from August-November.

Cost is $150 for one student and $100 each for additional siblings.

After School Math program:

Scratch Program: Mondays 3:10 - 4:10 pm, 1st-5th grades, in the Library. September-November, $120 for 8 weeks.

Creative Math: Wednesdays 2:00-3:00 pm, 1st-5th grades, Room 603. September-November, $100

Fun with Circuits:Thursdays 3:10-4:10 pm, 1st-5th grades, Room 605. September-November, $135

Builder's Workshop: Grades 1st-5th 

Are you a LEGO® Builder? Join us! Warming up doing basic building using LEGO® to introducing other materials that attach to LEGO® bricks to make them move! Introducing Circuit Cubes which work with LEGO® bricks to make them come alive! We'll compare LEGO® Power Functions to Circuit Cubes' visual movement. Meet Flopsy! 

4 Classes: 11/29, 12/6, 12/13 & 12/20 (Minimum Day) $70.00

Viva El Espanol @ JB

Who: Students entering 1st - 5th grade in Fall 2018

What: Spanish language classes led by native speakers - Students will learn vocabulary related to a variety of everyday themes, practice using it within sentences, and master many useful phrases. Program uses a full-immersion approach, and students learn while singing songs, playing games, and doing hands-on projects. Numerous optional culturally-oriented fieldtrips and activities offered throughout the year. Maximum enrollment of 12 students per instructor. Space is limited. New students will be placed in 1st year Spanish. Continuing students will be grouped by proficiency and curriculum will expand to new subject areas that encourages them to build upon previous knowledge.

Where: John Baldwin Elementary School (rooms TBD)

When: 7:45 am - 8:30 am, Monday - Friday 

Dates: Sept. 24, 2018 - May 31, 2019 (32 weeks, follows school calendar)
